Vaco Indianapolis has partnered with a client located in Indianapolis to fill a Recruiter position.

The Recruiter is a senior level role responsible for full life cycle recruiting for all level jobs, primarily focused on mid to senior level requisitions.
This position works with senior leadership within the company to identify future staffing needs, anticipate recruitment trends, and create pipelining strategies.
The Recruiter specializes in recruiting talent in niche areas with advanced market knowledge and sourcing abilities. This position will be the primary point of contact for candidate questions and seamlessly ensure a positive experience throughout all aspects of the candidate recruitment lifestyle.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Talent Acquisition - 50%

  • Full life-cycle recruitment across multiple businesses throughout the company
  • Establish and maintain relationships with senior management, hiring managers, and HR partners across the company to understand intricate business needs to effectively source and facilitate the selection of quality candidates
  • Develop and implement effective and comprehensive sourcing strategies for assigned requisitions
  • Identify passive, senior level talent through non-traditional methods including social networking, AIRS techniques, cold calling and external networking
  • Interview candidates using advanced behavioral techniques to determine most qualified candidate
  • Manage interview and selection process to ensure superior candidate experience while providing strategic advice and counsel to senior executives
  • Effectively assess candidate's probability of offer acceptance; identify other competing opportunities, conduct a complete review of the current compensation package to include incentives and negotiate final offer
  • Proactively research & evaluate new sourcing ideas and methods as well as test and promote suitable new technology that adds value to hiring talent

Project Management - 20%

  • Management of assigned Talent Acquisition program
  • Work with all locations in determining local best practices and optimal solution(s) for all pilots and program introductions or enhancements

Compliance and Controls - 10%

  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures, paying close attention to Talent Acquisition specific desktop procedures
  • Ensure that recruiting and hiring practices are compliant with all applicable local, state, and federal employment laws as well as OFCCP/EEOC guidelines

Reporting - 10%

  • Utilize advanced reporting metrics for personal and team performance tracking as well as to establish actions plans and strategies.
  • Prepares weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as required
  • Provides analysis of data and recommends appropriate course corrections

Special Initiatives - 10%

  • Lead special initiatives such as Campus Recruitment or new business staffing projects
  • Develop strategies and manage process in representing company at related strategic events


  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or other related fields and/or equivalent work experience


  • 7+ progressive experience in Talent Acquisition with experience in placing executive and specialized positions, preferably working in a financial services environment
