Job Description

The Marketing Coordinator executes Local Store/Wash Marketing initiatives, coordinating field marketing and community-based programs for current and washes within designated markets.

Research and execute effective local marketing initiatives for designated washes

  • Thoroughly understand Trade Area around each designated wash
  • Know SWOT of each store in assigned group
  • Create and implement marketing plans for designated wash to drive sales/increase awareness
  • Develop strong relationships with wash management to maintain a two-way communication of store needs and marketing opportunities/program implementation
  • Provide advice and guidance for building sales within designated wash
  • Provide weekly contact with Site Managers/DMs to give updates and get feedback on local wash marketing endeavors
  • Provide weekly updates on progress of planned local wash initiatives to marketing team

Build community goodwill and manage relationships with influential organizations

  • Plan, staff and manage community/special event participation. Specific activities include giveaway planning, securing permits, product ordering, financial record keeping, attendance at events and final evaluation
  • Evaluate and respond to all donation/fundraiser requests, taking action on those requiring execution of donations
  • Proactively solicit new customers through various street team efforts, including sampling to local businesses and community groups (20 per week minimum)

Creation and execution of local marketing plans for new site openings

  • Create and implement marketing plans to drive sales/awareness of new locations
  • Conduct pre-opening marketing activities using the Marketing Guide book as a base for planning and execution

  • Manage POP and oversee the installation of POP materials/visual merchandising

Ensure quarterly store audits to maintain all point of sale items, signage, and promotional materials have been conducted at site level

Additional responsibilities

  • Attend appropriate community meetings (i.e., chambers; convention and visitors bureaus, etc.)
  • Manage local marketing budgets, tracking, reporting and reconciliation of spending (as appropriate)
  • Provide on-going support to operations, Business Manager, Marketing Manager and Marketing Director as directed
  • Maintain great customer relationships
