Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshooting software, patch and configuration issues in a Windows 10 environment
  • Replacing/upgrading client and server hardware
  • Responsible for the provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of Windows based system hardware and software
  • Manage Active Directory users and devices
  • Manage Office 365 users and configuration
  • Manage firewall and WAN connectivity
  • Understanding of various networking protocols and concepts such as DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VoIP, Wi-Fi configurations
  • Manage and maintain overall network/infrastructure health and performance
  • Perform network and Server administration tasks
  • Able to define advanced troubleshooting techniques to quickly isolate and resolve reported infrastructure issues, except those requiring advanced Network or Server skills
  • Provide IT operations support, which may include collecting and reporting performance data, outage data, review of error logs and backup logs, and other monitoring as assigned and can provide assessment of results and recommendations for improvement
  • Assist in the implementation and documentation of best practices in infrastructure maintenance and support
  • Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution

Requirements


  • 2+ years of strong Windows systems administration skills including Windows experience (Ad, Powershell, user administration, OS installation) in a large scaleproduction environment.
  • OS and network configuration (DNS, Bonded interfaces, network connectivity).
  • File system and network storage administration (EMC, S3, EBS, NFS, LVM, ext4...).
  • Experience integrating and Managing Databases and instances within AWS
  • Experience with VMWare Products and administration (Build and Maintain) VSphere, VCenter, Veeam
  • Strong Server Host ESXI knowledge essential
  • Experience using Atlassian Products
  • Ability to function independently and collaboratively, bringing a strong work ethic to the team environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy to all levels of users
  • Knowledge of security standards and security protocols
  • Ability to present ideas and document system processes in user-friendly language.
