Job Description

  • Position: Sr Reporting Analyst
  • Ideal background:
    • Couple years of public accounting exposure
    • CPA required
    • Ideally right out of public accounting (client understands that might be challenging) - open to public accounting/ industry mix
    • Someone who can work independently, challenges status quo, pays close attention to detail, and can immediately jump in and help prep 10Q & 10K
  • Selling points:
    • 10% bonus target, new role, great exposure (CFO knows you/ meets with you), opportunity to take on more responsibility, growing company (went through acquisition last year)
    • Not able to commit to growing into Manager role within reporting, but they are growing and could see opportunities to advance with F&A in general
    • Work/ life balance: some work from home on occasion, could be some weekend work occasionally (would likely be from home); when not quarter end it's a typical 40 hour week; during Quarter end, it could be a couple hours extra a day and some weekend (this is for about a week and a half each quarter)
  • Other notes:
    • Implemented OneStream recently and implementing Workiva now (this Q and next) - the new hire will help with implementation
    • Current external reporting function is being done by 3rd party - bringing in-house in Q4
    • Completed adopting new Lease and Rev Rec standard (ASC 606)
    • In addition to the 3rd party outsource, they have a contractor in helping now
  • Comp:
    • Target base is mid-$80's - potential flex for right candidate; 10% target bonus
  • Timeline:
    • Would like to make the hire and have someone start in Q4
