Job Description

The Salesforce Administrator is part of the Technology team that supports and develops products, SalesForce configurations, and reporting. This position works directly with associates on the use of the SalesForce platform (and all areas of the OneStrut platform) to get the most efficient use of the platform across the enterprise. The SalesForce Administrator will troubleshoot and work with end-users to ensure that platform meets their needs and keep pace with changes in program operations, policies and/or procedures.

In addition, this position will be empowered to use SalesForce programming languages (Apex, VisualForce, etc.) and external Technology development tools to create innovations as part of the OneStrut platform for our guests and associates alike.

Responsiblities


  • • Perform all administration functions such as security user management, profiles, roles, permissions, rules, assignment rules, queues, licenses, capacity, and storage management.

  • • Perform all administration process (including, but not limited to Workflows, Validation Rule, Approval Process, Assignment Rule, list generation).

  • • Act as the primary point of contact for day to day user requests.

  • • Regularly perform database de-duping and cleanup procedures.

  • • Manage ongoing support requests and administrative needs of users.

  • • Develop reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity.

  • • Assist users with report design and management.

  • • Work with various functions and end users to identify, document, and communicate standard business processes as they related to the database.

  • • Work with management to identify new and creative opportunities to leverage the database to support additional business processes or functions.

  • • Create innovative solutions using both SalesForce and non-SalesForce technologies as part of the OneStrut platform strategy.

  • • SalesForce Certifications desired include: Administrator / Developer.

  • • Strong understanding of SalesForce and Service Cloud technical requirements, system configuration, and user requirements.

  • • Experience working with the SalesForce Communities.

  • • Strong communication, documentation, prioritization and training skills.

  • • Proficiency in custom objects, validation rules, workflows, reporting, dashboards, assignment rules, and formula fields.

  • • Detail oriented, well organized, and ability to multi-task in a results oriented business environment.

  • • Strong knowledge of SalesForce programming languages and best practices between configuration and development.

  • • Strong knowledge of other common programing languages and the ability to connect with the SalesForce API.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in technology, computer science or related field required.
  • 6-10 years of SalesForce administration experience required with a strong understanding of SalesForce best practices and functionality.
