Job Description

Vaco is currently recruiting for a Sales Support/Account Manager for a fantastic client in the Lakeland area! This is a direct hire role with our client paying between $55,000 and $59,000 depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of client management and sales support experience and have a proven success rate in maintaining and growing existing relationships with clients!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Pro-actively manage client relationships and ensure client engagement with the product(s) such that they are utilizing them and that they are meeting their expectations
  • Conduct regular check-in calls and business reviews with clients
  • Thoroughly document outcomes of engagement interactions
  • Develop and implement success plans designed to get slow-to-implement clients on the path to success
  • Advocate for clients by identifying emerging issues and suggesting improvements to processes, policies and products
  • Make recommendations for improving user experience and advancing client use
  • Forecast and track key account metrics
  • Lead by example --provide a strong role model and influence on others for best Client Advocate practices - employing a timely and professional approach in all interactions.
  • Interface with the Innovation team to assist in establishing business/use cases based on client feedback
  • Communicate with various internal groups to communicate key feedback
  • Deliver value to the company through customer satisfaction, retention and cross-selling
  • Collaborate with members of internal and client teams
  • Identify and escalate potential at-risk clients
  • Take ownership of client interactions
  • Engage departmental leaders
  • Work cross-functionally with all business stakeholders
  • Conduct and document discovery and needs assessments for supplemental services estimates and deliver cost information to clients
  • Qualify upselling and cross-selling opportunities among current clients and coordinate with sales team to pass opportunities into the sales pipeline

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline
