Job Description

The SAP Basis and GRC Administrator has the primary responsibility to plan, support, install and manage optimum system design, and deployment of SAP ERP and related solutions for our business through the application of SAP technology, services, and methodologies.

The SAP Basis Administrator is responsible for implementation, operational support and maintenance of system software and hardware environment.

The main responsibilities include technical environment planning & coordination, SAP systems administration and security management, operations and performance management, systems monitoring, system backup, patches and upgrade management.

Essential Functions/Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sustain and enhance GRC application functionality
  • Process GRC access requests to support user provisioning
  • Monitor and troubleshoot activities within user provisioning processes
  • Identify, implement, and test process and technology improvements to drive further efficiencies in the access, risk, and process controls areas.
  • Collaborate with process owners to identify Segregation of Duties risks and update GRC Mitigating Controls and Rule Sets accordingly
  • Collaborate with internal & external auditors to answer questions and assist with remediation efforts as required implement and maintain multiple SAP (ABAP/JAVA) instances that comprise SAP environment (development, test, training and production
