The SAS Programmer Analyst will engage in various tasks associated with Statistical Analysis, Programming and Database Management including but not limited to:

  • Perform sample-sizing and statistical analysis in support of digital testing.
  • Conduct regression analysis, verification and validation.
  • Create visual representations of data findings (graphs, charts)
  • Build response models under the guidance of statistician, business analysts, etc.
  • Develop and maintain new program source code related to statistical analysis.
  • Enact the automation of the querying and reporting of online transaction data.
  • Data analysis, identification of trends or issues, and preparation of feasible recommendations based on the results of statistical analysis.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Finance or combination of relevant education and work experience.
  • At least 3 years of professional SAS experience; Base SAS, SAS Visual Analytics, PROC SQL and SAS based ETL processes
  • Strong programming and data analysis skills. Able to develop code to automate querying/reporting/scoring on Windows servers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to perform in-depth analysis to uncover commonalities, patterns, anomalies, etc. in large amounts of online transaction data.
  • Able to work independently in the mining of data and the troubleshooting of data issues.
  • Familiarity with basic statistical hypothesis-testing and predictive modeling methods.
  • Understanding of various data visualization tools
