Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and coordinate all SEC financial filings (10-K, 10-Q), registration statements, earnings releases, quarterly supplemental filings, and XBRL tagging
  • Lead the consolidation process and preparation of the consolidated financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, and statement of stockholders' equity)
  • Prepare, gather, document and review support documentation for internal and external financial reporting, including the review of GAAP & disclosure checklists
  • Coordinate and prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages to senior executives and the Board of Directors
  • Monitor, enhance, implement and adhere to formal processes for internal controls surrounding the reporting process to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) section 404 requirements
  • Coordinate completion of quarterly tax provision
  • Coordinate annual state and federal tax filings
  • Assist with treasury management process
  • Assist with the review of budget-to-actual variance explanations provided by the Controller and prepare explanations at the consolidated level

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA certified preferred
  • 5+ years of SEC reporting
  • 2+ of public experience preferred
  • Strong current knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting rules and regulations
  • Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills Project management skills - ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects from start to finish, incorporating feedback from multiple sources.
