Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities (Responsibilities necessary to accomplish job functions)

  • Provide daily leadership to the Accounts Payable team
  • Provide daily leadership to the Payroll team
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of AP and Payroll activities
  • Provide acquisition integration leadership and due diligence for AP and Payroll activities
  • Ensure detailed understanding of provider employment agreements and detailed provider compensation calculations for each acquisition and incorporate into USDP tools for monthly processing.
  • Ensure proper AP and Payroll policies and procedures are documented and properly functioning
  • Ensure a library of all employment agreements is maintained and timely updated.
  • Perform monthly compensation analysis providing insight to trends and opportunities for profit improvement.
  • Supervise and develop the Accounts Payable and Payroll team members
  • Perform other duties that may be necessary or in the best interest of the organization.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years in AP and Payroll leadership role(s); healthcare-related preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years Accounting or Finance experience in a multi-unit company

  • Interpersonal skills to support customer service, functional, and team mate support needs
    • Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Mathematical and Analytical strength
  • Ability to follow or provide verbal & written instructions with sufficient grammar and spelling skills to avoid mistakes or misinterpretations
  • Basic to intermediate computer operation
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations for this position; general understanding of HIPAA guidelines
