Senior Accountant - Contract to Hire in Santa Monica, CA at Vaco

Vaco is working on an immediate contact-to-hire role with a large entertainment company in Santa Monica.

What you need for this role:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• 3 years minimum accounting experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• Great attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Strong GAAP knowledge
• Entertainment industry experience a plus, large company experience strong desired.

Responsibilities:

• Month end closing accruals
• General ledger journal entries
• Account and intercompany transactions and reconciliations
• Assist with cash flow reporting
• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements
