A South Bay real estate company is experiencing tremendous growth and needs to add a polished Senior Accountant to their team. To succeed in this role, the Senior Accountant must have strong communication skills to be able to work with all levels of the company in an entrepreneurial environment. The Senior Accountant should also have strong attention to detail and be a creative problem solver.

What you need for this Senior Accountant role:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience in a public accounting or CPA firm a plus
  • CPA or CPA eligible a plus
  • Real estate or property management industry exposure
  • Experience with Yardi or similar real estate software
  • Advanced skills in Excel

What you will be doing in this Senior Accountant role - You will:

  • Record investment transactions
  • Assist with cash management, bank reconciliation, record wire transfers and help with cash reporting and budgeting
  • Reconcile GL accounts
  • Account for fund assets and participate in close process
  • Create and maintain all supporting schedules for month end financial statements
  • Assist with year-end audits
  • Records and reconciles intercompany accounts
  • Assists Controller with special projects
