Senior Accountant - Temp to Perm in Houston, TX at Vaco

Job Description

Centrally located Houston client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join growing team on a temp to perm basis. Must have minimum five years experience and the ability to work independently. QuickBooks is a plus and advanced Excel required.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist with month end close
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations
• Provide detailed performance variance analysis to budget
• Assist in monthly financial statement close process
• Prepare and post monthly accurals and journal entries
• Assist with special projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with minimum five years of experience
• QuickBooks is preferred
• Must be proficient with Excel
