Senior Accounting Manager for Art manufacturer near LAX in Work from home and El Segundo at Vaco

A large art manufacturer is looking for a hands on Accounting Manager/Asst Controller to join their team. The successful candidate must have a background in manufacturing and cost accounting, thorough understanding of full cycle accounting, comfortable implementing new processes and procedures and have a degree in accounting and finance. Experience with royalties is a huge plus along with exposure to Dynamics 365.

The role will be remote for the foreseeable future but will eventually be based out of El Segundo. The role offers growth opportunities as well as the ability to make a difference at a PE owned company.

Responsibilities Include:

• Manage Month end close process, including review of Journal entries, account balance reconciliations and financial reporting preparation
• Managed bank recs, fixed assets and cap lease schedules
• Manage Accounts receivable
• Assist Accounts Payable personnel to help improve invoice coding
• Assist the royalties reporting manager
• Assist with the controller on budgeting and forecasting
