Job Description

The primary role of the Senior Asset Manager is to to ensure compliance with all legal agreements, assist with daily tasks and proactively address asset management issues that arise. The primary functions of this position are to understand applicable legal agreements, identify non-compliance issues and work with Asset Manager and operator to resolve. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Demonstrate knowledge of legal agreements to proactively track, manage and report on compliance required within the documents
  • Manage all critical dates and ensure timely compliance
  • Ensure satisfactory adherence to obligations such as maintaining regulatory licenses in good standing, adequate levels of insurance, property taxes paid and values contested as appropriate
  • Perform analyses of operating performance for portfolios and priority assets
  • Perform analyses on move ins/move outs, rent rolls, labor reports, real estate taxes and other relevant items
  • Populate site visit reports and track the follow up action items resulting from site visits
  • Prepare ad hoc analyses, including but not limited to: Investment Committee memorandum, capital ROI analysis, dispositions, lease restructures, and construction loan analysis
  • Perform analyses of parent and guarantor financial reports
  • Perform calculations to determine covenant compliance
  • Ensure accuracy and timely renewal of letters of credit
  • Monitor FF&E reserves and process funding requests
  • Support Asset Managers with tasks and projects as requested
