Job Description

Our client, located in Union county is adding a Senior Auditor to the team.

In this role the ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conduct planning, field work, and report preparation for audit engagements. Communicate with engagement partner and manager regarding audit findings.
  • Prepare automated audit work papers that leverage sound audit theory and comply with firm's methodology.
  • Complete reviews and compilations in compliance with firm and AICPA standards.
  • Prepare or assist in preparing tax returns for assigned clients.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigne

Requirements for the position include:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • CPA certification preferred
  • 5 years of audit experience in public accounting and/or internal audit
  • Proficiency in Ultra Tax, Lacerte, or ProSystem fx Tax preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Understanding of accounting systems (e.g. QuickBooks, ProSystem fx Engagement)
  • Demonstrated expertise in audit, accounting, regulatory and compliance
  • Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Professionalism, dependability, commitment and integrity
  • Ability to multitask and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Nonprofit experience a plus.
