Must-Have List

  • 98% of the BSA is creating user stories and acceptance criteria
  • This role is NOT responsible for budget or scope. (Engagement Managers do that)
  • They are NOT looking for someone to take a project from start to finish. Instead, they'll be handling the BA tasks of multiple projects at once.
  • They do NOT want hybrid BA's that have functioned as Project Managers as well.

This position will have very little supervision looking over them, so this candidate must be comfortable with that and confident, ready to hit the ground running. It's a very fast paced environment.

  • Ideally need to have experience with User Acceptance Testing
  • This BA role is manages/oversees the tasks of the offshore QA's.
  • Must have experience working with an offshore team or at least working with a remote employee.
  • Must have Bachelor Degree
  • 5-8 years BA experience

Must have heavy Agile methodology experience:

  • Daily standups aren't enough. They want BA's with experience in:
  • Sprint planning meetings.
  • Sprint review meetings.
  • Sprint retrospective meetings.
  • Backlog refinement meetings as well.

In addition to daily standups:

  • They don't have to be Scrum Masters, but from an agile perspective, they need to have the above experience, client demos, and being able to work with the Development and QA teams to get estimates and make sure they understand the requirements.
  • Must come from a very structured environment a very structured Agile Scrum team environment where each project team had a dedicated PM, BA, QA, and developers.
  • And everyone stuck to their own jobs. (BA's do not help with PM or development tasks.)
