Job Description

Your primary responsibilities will be to plan, design, implement, maintain, and administer the organization's compensation programs working across organizational levels and regions to ensure market competitiveness, internal equity, process efficiency and compliance with current federal, state and local compensation laws and regulations and company policy.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Creates and maintains effective compensation programs, including base pay, incentives and bonus programs, utilizing national and regional strategies that align with company guidelines.
  • Manages the monthly, quarterly and annual bonus and incentive programs.
  • Designs or participates in the design of all variable reward programs, including those for executive, sales, professional staff and hourly employees.
  • Oversees job evaluations/classifications, making determinations as to exempt or non-exempt status under FLSA, developing and updating job descriptions, generic classification specifications, and assigning pay grades to classifications.
  • Monitors the effectiveness of existing compensation policies, guidelines and procedures recommending plan revision as well as new plans which are cost effective and consistent with compensation trends and corporate objectives.
  • Conducts market evaluations of existing salaries and grades for internal and external equity and market competitiveness; participates in exempt and nonexempt salary surveys to ensure pay practices and philosophy are followed.
  • Evaluates programs, keeps abreast of legislation, trends, advances and/or new technology and makes recommendations for changes and improvements.
  • Facilitates and coordinates the annual performance review and increase process.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred
  • Minimum 5 years' compensation analysis experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of labor laws such as the Fair Labor Standards Act and other Federal, State and Local laws regulating compensation
  • Knowledge and experience in HRIS systems
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to develop complex compensation analysis required
  • Advanced Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Independent and Collaborative Team Player
