Senior Cost Analyst in Charlotte, NC at Vaco

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct account reconciliation
• Prepare with annual planning, budgeting, operational reporting, cost reviews and forecasting for the Plant.
• Coordinate new inventory standards for raw materials
• Provide detailed analysis for use in making financial projections, business decisions and controlling expenditures.
• Facilitate monthly cycle counts and provide analysis for variances.
• Annual labor and overhead rates in preparation for Standard Cost rolls.
• Analyze weekly and monthly budget variances, along with and preparation of inventory analysis and reporting.
• Freight and Warranty Analysis
• Cost rolls, labor efficiency reporting
• Perform month-end and annual accounting close activities for the Plant in accordance with the Corporate financial closing calendar.

Years of Experience:

3 - 5+ Years in a manufacturing accounting environment

Level of Education:

4 Year Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in manufacturing industry is required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Knowledgeable in all operational areas of accounting, including cost accounting and general accounting.
• Experience with Oracle EBS is a plus
