As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will provide strategic analysis to senior management. You will also be responsible for the forecasting and budget-setting process as well as performing financial analysis and modeling.

Financial Analyst responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership to prepare and help drive the annual and mid-year budgeting processes
  • Prepare, coordinate and review financial forecasts
  • Prepare and review monthly analysis of results (BS, P&L and Cash Flow Statement) to ensure the overall financials are properly reflected in management reports
  • Analyze, identify and communicate risks and opportunities in a timely manner
  • Provide structured and ad hoc reporting and support to various groups
  • Prepare various monthly presentation packages for management reviews
  • Assist in identifying, evaluating and implementing process improvements
  • Interface with General Accounting to support various activities related to Month/Quarter/Year-end closing
  • Prepare and support the annual and mid-year budgeting processes
  • Provide other financial and analytical support as requested

Experience:

  • Minimum 7 - 10 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Prior roles must demonstrate strong analytical skills
  • SAP or other financial ERP systems experience is a requirement
  • Plant finance and/or Cost accounting experience strongly preferred
  • Fortune 500 experience highly desirable

Education:

  • B.A. or B.S. degree in Finance or Accounting required, MBA preferred
