Job Description

Our client is seeking a Financial Analyst to fill a key role on their finance team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional financial analysis skills and the ability to translate that analysis into actionable insights for the practice. Additionally, it is critical that the candidate possess excellent healthcare business acumen, a strong ability to lead and influence others, solid communication skills, and a one-team mentality.

Responsibilities

  • Drive identification, delivery, and measurement of ROI
  • Develop annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and strategic plans
  • Develop and track key performance metrics against the practice's strategic objectives
  • Create monthly reporting and KPI packages for management
  • Lead efforts to develop financial models and to automate financial reporting
  • Make recommendations to management based on analyzing results, monitoring variances, and identifying trends
  • Complete ad hoc requests such as market sizing, pricing recommendations, compensation review, etc.
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of healthcare business experience with demonstrated progression of responsibility
  • Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, or accounting
  • In depth financial planning, financial analysis, data mining, and modeling expertise
  • Strong Excel financial modeling skills are critical
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Intermediate to advanced technical skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite

Experience:

  • Financial Analysis: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Financial Planning: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Data Mining: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Financial Modeling: 3 years (Preferred)

Education:

  • Bachelor's from a four year, on site accredited college or university required.
  • Master's degree preferred
