Senior Internal Auditor
Irving, TX

Searching for an Internal Auditor with SOX knowledge working with an extremely collaborative team. Ideal person will have 3+ years of Internal Audit experience, SOX experience and a thorough understanding of internal testing/controls.

Responsibilities:

• Independently plan and perform financial, SOX and operational audits
• Conduct detail testing in assigned area for a range of specified financial areas including SOX, SOX Compliance
• Collaborate with Audit manager to develop audit plans, risk matrices and perform audit test procedures
• Assess risk areas and test internal controls
• Develop work papers, executive summaries and audit reports as necessary
• Work with Audit manager to identify and present key findings
• Assist in the preparation of annual audit plan
• Assist with non-audit special projects proposing changes and/or improvements

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in financial audit, public experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA, CISA highly preferred
• SOX experience required
• Analytical and problem solving skills
