Job Description

Vaco has a full time opportunity in Houston, TX for a Senior IT Service Desk Analyst to provide leadership to our client's service desk and ongoing delivery of Office 365. An ideal candidate will deliver excellent customer service across a diverse user base at 48 locations across North America. In addition, they will be proficient in cloud technologies and have experience maximizing the usage of Office 365.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide Tier 1 & 2 support to end users across the organization
  • Develop & maintain weekly Service Desk report
  • Document procedures, standards and best practices
  • Active Directory administration - Creating user accounts, reset passwords, create groups etc.
  • Mobile Device Management
  • Troubleshoot basic network issues
  • Support of VoIP phones
  • Corporate A/V support and Video Conferencing support (LifeSize Cloud & Skype for Business)
  • Manage and monitor the Office 365 tenant - account maintenance, licensing…
  • Develop and document best practices for supporting Office 365
  • Provide advice and training to employees on various Office 365 applications
  • SharePoint Online administration
  • Drive adoption rate of Office 365
  • Project work as required

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in relevant subject matter
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience supporting Microsoft infrastructure technologies with emphasis on Windows 10 and Office 2016
  • Minimum 3 years delivering and supporting Microsoft cloud-based technologies
  • Microsoft Certifications are a plus
  • Spanish communication is a strong plus
  • Diligent approach to problem solving with attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills while partnering with customers to solve problems in an efficient manner
  • Embraces a positive approach to customer service which demonstrates patience, empathy and an ability to communicate in easy-to-understand terms
  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment driven by continuous improvement
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish is a huge plus
