Job Description

Vaco is currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Support Specialist. Support specialist will need an in-depth knowledge supporting Microsoft networks for other businesses and the following:

* Minimum 5 to 8 years' experience with Microsoft server and network administration.
* Administration of Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016, and previous desktop support.
* Hands on experience configuring and managing Windows domains with services such as: Hyper-V, Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange and general application management.
* Strong skills in network troubleshooting, router & wireless support, VPN & remote access.
* Managed Services or Technology Consulting experience is a plus!

Things You Will Do:

As a Senior IT Support Specialist, you are responsible for identifying and resolving complex technical issues. You will maintain user and system up-time through remote troubleshooting while working with clients, peers and outside vendors. Our Senior Specialist also offers technical leadership and coaching to the rest of the Support team and partners across departments to find creative solutions.

Technical challenges you as the Senior IT Support Specialist will resolve:

* Identify, troubleshoot, resolve complex technical issues while maintaining customer satisfaction. * Support and maintains client third-party software including vendor contacts for resolution.
* Server or network hardware experience diagnosing, replacing and upgrading of systems.
* Highest escalation point involving server or network troubleshooting, repair, disaster recovery, or other critical requests escalated for assistance.
* Provide technical leadership and training to other team members to provide employee growth.
* Document, review and improve technical procedures and knowledge management.
