We have an exciting opportunity for an executive-level Manager with a history of success in the interior design industry! This role is focused on business development, team development, client retention, and project management and delivery.

The Senior Manager dedicates their time and efforts to leading the success of their team in project delivery, administration and operations to meet company goals.

The Senior Manager represents the company and is responsible for client relations; continuously working to understand the client's organization, key people, and project goals. The Senior Manager must be an effective communicator with excellent leadership skills, management experience and the ability to motivate all Associates. The Senior Manager must be able to manage, supervise and build teams, delegate responsibility and assist in professional development.


  • Leads, Coordinates and is accountable for the activities of the project team and assigns decision making tasks and work functions to appropriate individuals.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the team that will enable them to play an instrumental role in the company achieving its vision.
  • Empowers, inspires, motivates and develops the team to promote continual high performance.
  • Manages and leads Associates while performing management and leadership responsibilities in accordance with the company's policies, values and culture.
  • Set project goals that include: client, design, financial and sustainability.
  • Participate in and actively support a clear vision for the company.
  • Communicate this vision to the team while providing them with the information, knowledge, and resources for the company to realize this vision.
  • Create and foster an atmosphere that promotes trust, creativity, open and honest feedback, accountability and personal development.
  • Promote the company culture by holding team accountable to the defined cultural competencies.


  • Four year Bachelor of Science degree is required, preferably in the Interior Design, Project Management and/or Facilities Management or related discipline.
  • Ten years of experience at the manager level is required.
  • Strong experience in developing and managing a design related service and facility support-oriented organization.
  • Have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
  • Be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization both in verbal and written format.
  • Have excellent critical and strategic planning, problem solving, team development, and contingency planning.
  • Be skilled at delegation - the individual delegates work assignments, assigns sufficient authority to support independent work, sets expectations, and monitors delegated activities.
  • Demonstrate management skills - the individual includes staff in planning, facilitating, and process improvement; makes oneself available to staff; provides regular performance feedback; and develops Associates' skills and encourages growth.
