JOB SUMMARY

Vaco Technology is currently seeking a Senior .NET Developer for a 6-12M Contract (w/ possibility of conversion to fulltime) located in Irving, TX. The Senior .NET Developer will work closely with BAs, Developers, Release Management, Architects, and QA Teams to manage / implement software solutions. The Senior .NET Developer will lead all phases of the SDLC and perform code reviews, build management, and production support.

• Interface with QA / UAT / DBA / Infrastructure Teams Throughout the Project Lifecycle
• Lead the Team to Successful Deliverables / Ensure Team Accountability to Meet Deliverables
• Interpret Functional / Technical Specification Documentation
• Support / Maintain / Document Software Functionality, etc.
• Facilitate Code / Design Reviews / Assessments - Lead Design Sessions
• CI (Continuous Integration) / Service Abstraction / Queuing Services (knowledge)
• Assist Management in Creating Project Plans / Estimations

• Lead / Senior Developer (2+ years)
• .NET Developer (6+ years) - C# / ASP.NET / SQL Server
• ASP.NET MVC - Model-View-Controller
• Web Technologies - HTML / CSS / JavaScript / AJAX / JQuery / Bootstrap / XML / XSL
• TDD - Test-Driven Development
• SQL Server 2008 / 2012 - T-SQL / Stored Procedures / Triggers / Functions / Joins, etc.
• WebServices - WCF (Communication Foundation)
• Build Automation / CI (Continuous Integration) / Source Code Branching Strategies
• .NET Security Authentication / Authorization
• Agile Development Methodology / Principals / Practices
