Preferred Skills / Experience:

Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in Network Support and Deployment Services and comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. Candidate must be organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment, able to design and implement a project schedule, and able to handle multiple priorities. Additional preferred qualifications are:

  • B.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or equivalent preferred
  • Microsoft, Cisco and or VMware certifications desired
  • 5+ years in implementing, administering and troubleshooting network infrastructure devices including; Servers, Workstations, Firewalls, Routers, Switches and Wireless access points
  • Proven ability to manage short and long term engagements with multiple project tracks and teams
  • Ability to interact with clients of all levels and industry backgrounds, from the C-Level to IT individual contributor
  • Firm understanding of project management processes and methodologies (i.e. MS Project, Excel, hybrid)
  • Proven ability to manage and set client expectations
  • Ability to manage client escalations and negotiate resolution
  • Understands network-based technologies: demonstrates competency (or capacity to be successful) in the ability to translate customer/business requirements into business solutions and successfully position with customers

Responsibilities include;

  • Installation and support of client's hardware and network infrastructure equipment according to industry best practice
  • Lead, work & bill 75% of individual hours per month on major customer projects assigned, and work to grow Network Service billings in these accounts
  • Manage projects and maintenance tasks in the company's Networks Time Management system
  • Serve as escalation point for the Regional Office clients to ensure high quality deliverables, solutions and client management on projects.
  • Work within the company to ensure that all operational functions are aligned with company objectives and client needs.
  • Monitor and message internal expectations on key business metrics such as support responsiveness, delivery of service, client satisfaction, and system performance.
  • Ensure tight management, customer communications, and expectation setting for customer deployments.
  • Direct report to Executive Management
