Job Description


  • Help architect, lead and manage the implementation of services and technologies supporting our infrastructure.
  • Provide consulting and technical leadership in identifying and implementing new network infrastructure systems and services.
  • Work closely with the IT team to help define the company's network architecture that will facilitate efficient implementation and integration of "best-in-class" network systems and services.

  • Ensure high availability of enterprise voice and data platforms that support critical business processes. In partnership with key vendors, provide operational support and system administration for implemented network infrastructure systems and services. Assess network performance and resolve problems.
  • Manage network infrastructure vendors according to negotiated contracts and documented support SLAs. Perform performance assessments and establish a review process of issues.

  • Document the design, operation and troubleshooting of technology platforms and procedures. Author technical documents and SOPs addressing the setup, operations and support of technical infrastructure.
  • Manage disaster recovery functions for infrastructure systems and services. Provide backup/restore, archiving and disaster/recovery procedures for network systems. Organizes off-site storage necessary for recovery processes and oversees development of recovery procedures Develop, document and test DR strategies for delivered infrastructure systems and services.
  • Assist with planning and implementing systems and network integrations following M&A activity.

  • Partner with senior IT to better understand the needs of the business, and work to ensure that IT resources and projects are properly aligned with business priorities.
  • Assist in the assessment, selection and management of infrastructure systems and services vendors. Help negotiate vendor contracts and establish vendor SLAs.

  • Ensure all work meets security and compliance requirements and standards. Help manage network security. Arrange and administer security measures to restrict unauthorized use of data systems and databases. Assist in any security investigations and executes preventive measures.
  • Participate and respond to regulated audits.


  • May be required periodically to work outside of scheduled work hours.

You Have:

  • AS/BS degree and 8 years' work experience, or high school degree with equivalent work experience
  • Experience with Switching (Capacity Planning & VLAN's), Routing (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), WAN Technologies (MPLS, VPLS, VPN) and Security (Firewalls, IDS, IPS, DNS filtering), SD-WAN
  • Experience successfully supporting systems and services in FDA regulated environment
  • Experience in with Azure, Office 365 service offering and Microsoft technologies/applications including Windows Server 2012 and greater, and Exchange 2010
  • Familiarity with IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, SSO, MFA/2FA, MDM/MAM
  • Must enjoy working with end users and providing excellent customer service
  • Required experience implementing and support a hybrid network infrastructure with multiple locations
