Your daily duties and responsibilities in this role will generally include:

  • Prepare, distribute, and maintain in an accurate and timely manner semi-monthly payroll for salaried and hourly employees, including commissions, bonuses and expense reports.
  • Provide accurate payroll calculations ensuring compliance with federal and multi-state laws.
  • Prepare and maintain various payroll reports for use by management.
  • Respond to inquiries from management regarding financial results, special reporting requests, etc.
  • Timely reconcile all payroll, payroll tax liability accounts, and other employee compensation related accounts
  • Prepare month-end close journal entries as needed including payroll expense and bonus accrual.
  • Communicate with payroll-processing company to ensure compliance with all regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Assist with quarterly reviews and audits by providing requested reports, documentation, etc.
  • Ensure the integrity of data related to new hires, terminations, transfers and benefit rates.
  • Assist HR with employment verification and onboarding of new employees.
  • Assist management with ad-hoc projects
Requirements:
  • Must have a strong background in processing multi state payrolls.
  • Ultipro experience required
