The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Payroll Manager with processing bi-weekly payroll by compiling all necessary data for all employees accurately while maintaining employment records including documentation of employee deductions, garnishments, taxation instructions, banking information, etc.

Key Job Responsibilities
* Responsible for assisting the payroll manager with the accurate and timely processing and distribution of payroll
* Review, analyze, process, and ensure payroll is accurate for 10,000+ employees
* Compiles, revises, verifies and reconciles payroll data including but not limited to hours worked, bonuses, commissions, taxes and benefit information
* Answers employee or manager questions as they relate to payroll and timekeeping
* Maintains the confidentiality standards of payroll operations
* Process reports and other documentation as necessary to support timely and accurate payment of deductions
* Work performed must be in compliance with MedStar policies and procedures as well as regulatory rules and regulations.

Job Requirements
* Associate's Degree
* Minimum 4 years' experience in payroll and/or human resources
* Experienced in payroll systems
* Strong data entry and analytical capabilities
* Strong attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills
* Dependable and Team Player
* Work under high pressure and fast paced environment
