Are you a Payroll or Human Resources professional looking for your next career move then apply today! The Payroll Specialist is responsible for assisting with processing and updating payroll in the Paycom system as well as assiting with employee changes and questions as needed.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for processing weekly, bi-weekly and monthly payroll across the enterprise
  • Manages the payroll department and leads process improvement projects
  • Review, analyze, process, and ensure payroll is accurate
  • Answers employee or manager questions as they relate to payroll and timekeeping
  • Maintains the confidentiality standards of payroll operations
  • Performs journal entries for month-end activities as they relate to payroll and treasury
  • Help with Excel spreadsheet reconciliation
  • Process reports and other documentation as necessary to support timely and accurate payment of deductions
  • Ability to assist with other HR administrative tasks as needed; recruiting and onboarding new hires

Job Requirements

  • Associate's Degree
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in payroll and/or human resources
  • Experience in Paycom highly preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Dependable and Team Player
