Senior Property Accountant in Irvine, CA in Irvine, CA at Vaco

Job Description

• Perform month-end close procedures including bank reconciliations, monthly accruals, recurring and non-recurring journal entries
• Responsible for entering job cost budgets into MRI, contract review/ approval, and review of submitted documentation for completeness
• Prepare construction management fee calculations and maintain invoice support
• Prepare/review monthly GAAP financial statements and support schedules
• Prepare monthly Fair Value financial statements as applicable
• Review of third party property management monthly reporting packages
• Prepare/maintain monthly Preferred Return Calculation schedules
• Provide support to the property management group on monthly variance explanations
• Prepare annual CAM reconciliations including review of new leases CAM language
• Prepare monthly Cash Requirement Analysis for investors
• Prepare monthly loan draw packages to lenders
• Responsible for meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual lender reporting requirements
• Responsible for cash management

• B.S. / B.A. degree in Accounting/Finance
• Property management accounting experience essential
• Knowledge of FAS 13 (Lease Accounting) & FAS 141 (Business Combinations)
• Knowledge of CAM reconciliations
• Experience working with MRI and Yardi; Strong Excel knowledge
