Supporting IFRS and Local Statutory financial reporting functions
►Preparing quarterly intercompany billings settlement and receipts
►Preparing and uploading journal entries to the general ledger (SAP)
►Preparing account reconciliations for both balance sheet and certain expense/revenue accounts
►Responsible for the unclaimed property processes, receivables, payables
►Assist in preparation of U.S. Treasury Filings
►Assist in developing, implementing and maintaining departmental policies and procedures
►Assist in maintaining a high level of internal controls preserving clean audit opinions and tri-annual state examinations
►Ability to work on special projects and hands-on ad hoc requests outside the day- to-day operations
► Excellent organization skills relating to filing & record keeping
Requirements:
►5 to 10 years of accounting experience, preferably in P&C insurance industry.
