Senior Salesforce Administrator

Vaco Technology is assisting a downtown client in their search for a Senior Salesforce Administrator. This individual will serve as the in-house expert on the Classic Salesforce instance and will lead the Salesforce administration, configuration and business analysis needs of the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establishes standard procedures and configurations for the Salesforce instance.
  • Researches and coordinates Salesforce upgrades with technical and business staff.
  • Leads project/task requirement gathering sessions with business and technical staff.
  • Configures Salesforce to accomplish business objectives.
  • Provides mentoring to junior staff.
  • Facilitates the creation and execution of user acceptance test plans with business staff.
  • Analyzes application behavior to identify and trace defects.
  • Creates test plans and tests application code for quality assurance.
  • Reports progress, risks and issues on active tasks to IT management.
  • Enlists the assistance of staff as needed.
  • Documents work in a manner that facilitates audits and learning by others.
  • Supports the application needs of the business during regular hours.
  • Supports the application needs of the business after regular hours on an as-needed basis.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant IT field.
  • Demonstrated skill in documenting requirements and test plans.
  • Four years of experience analyzing and configuring Classic or Lightning Salesforce Sales Cloud in a full-time capacity.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work with limited direct supervision.
  • Ability to mentor junior staff.
  • Demonstrated understanding of several technology concepts including but not limited to computer architecture, e-mail, telecommunications and network security.
  • Ability to resolve issues and execute projects of low-to-medium technical complexity.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • Familiarity with data-handling regulations such as Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPAA and/or PCI DSS.
  • Demonstrated skill with customer service and proactive communication.
  • Availability to work within the window of business hours as determined by the company.
  • Ability to work off-hours on an ad hoc basis as required to maintain critical business systems.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with Conga, Pardot and/or SMS Magic.
  • Salesforce Administrator (ADM 201) certification.

TERMS

  • This is a full-time opportunity with a salary range between $85 - $95K.
