Sr Strategic Marketing Manager

Our client is seeking a Sr Strategic Marketing Manager to lead the marketing strategy for all of the B2B/ Commercial business of their product offerings. This role will have a major impact in driving ROI for all marketing efforts to increase sales, customer engagement and brand presence in the market.

Responsible for strategic direction of our client's commercial business strategy and marketing channels and ensuring execution against annual customer acquisition and brand awareness goals. This position is accountable for managing the creation and implementation of marketing programs, service line design/development and specific product offerings, and achieving annual customer goals at an efficient rate of return. Defines sales support requirements, implementation, and enablement tools. Manages and provides direction to the commercial marketing team and agency support staff.

This individual must be a strategic, analytical and critical thinker with strong problem-solving and persuasive communication skills. Proficient interpersonal and influencing skills are required. The appropriate candidate will be extremely curious, and a proficient collaborator with proven leadership ability that challenges the status quo, drives change and generates results in a team-oriented environment.

Role Description:

  • Develop, test, launch and manage service offerings and products
  • Lead all Commercial branding activities (Ex. website, service offerings, products, equipment, etc.)
  • Differentiate the Commercial Brand in priority industry segments
  • Provide direction to Marketing team when designing and implementing programs to improve account manager sales productivity
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the commercial business
  • Manage and coach direct reports
  • Oversee establishment of annual media and content marketing plans; and work with agencies and Marketing team on implementation of them
  • Lead creative design and content with agencies for commercial sections of website
  • Manage budget, measure KPIs, and calculate/maximize ROI for all marketing efforts
  • Provide direction to Marketing team and agencies on marketing automation and lead nurturing programs
  • Work with Analytics team to develop learning plan and execute necessary research to inform and drive all planning and implementation

BA Required, MBA preferred (or equivalent work experience)
