Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


This position supports the corporate tax function in the Company's global headquarters in Los Angeles, California. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Preparation and processing of U.S. federal and state and local income tax returns, including processing tax payments, maintaining tax calendar, computing fixed assets depreciation and performing other tax calculations
  • Supporting international and domestic tax functions with financial reporting for income taxes.
  • Preparation and processing of property, sales and use tax returns and business license filings.
  • System reports processing
  • Domestic and international tax audit support

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS


The ideal candidate will have at least four years of accounting experience; emphasis on tax compliance and a minimum of two years in public accounting with international tax compliance experience preferred. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong overall computer skills and proficiency in Excel; familiarity with OneSource tax compliance preferred
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks, work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to effectively function with independent responsibilities
  • High energy with a willingness to "roll up his/her sleeves"
  • Desire to learn new skills and grow within the tax/finance profession

EDUCATION


An undergraduate degree in accounting is required. A graduate level degree with emphasis in tax is preferred.
