Job Description

Vaco Dallas, LLC is currently seeking qualified applicants who are looking for a fast tracked career in IT Managed Services, to join the team of a vastly growing Infrastructure Managed Services Provider in Addison, TX. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the US, as our client is unable to sponsor at this time. Applicants must be eligible to pass a background check and drug screen assessment upon selection for hire.

Compensation: Salaried $40,000 - 55,000, based on experience and credentials

Location: Addison, TX

Must be able to provide reliable transportation.

Job Scope: As an integral part of a growing company, you will have a personal connection to the client and our team. This means we are looking for a team player who understands the connection between customer service and technology. This includes responsibility for handling inbound client calls and support tickets, and proactively handling them to the best of your ability on your own. When needed this individual should also know when to escalate if unable to find a solution in a timely manner. What makes this an exciting position is that your interaction may change from day to day: on the phone, emailing clients or working with Field Techs on a regular basis. For this reason, customer service skills and a personable demeanor are A MUST. The individual must also be presentable and professional at all times.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 PM-CST | On call rotation, 1-week per month


  • 3+ years of experience in IT, preferably working in a Help Desk/Service Desk capacity handling inbound calls and tickets
  • Excellent people skills, customer service & communication skills and self-management skills
  • Honesty, integrity, motivated and a genuine desire to help
  • Very reliable; able to manage your time, work, and complete tasks
  • Able to explain complicated technical issues to high-end yet non-technical clients
  • Reliable transportation for travel in DFW area, IF needed
  • Professional (business casual) appearance required. *No visible tattoos or piercings please.*


  • Desktops: Windows, Mac OS, Office, anti-virus, etc.
  • Remotely troubleshooting desktop support issues, hardware and software issues
  • Windows Server OS: 2012, 2012 R2, 2008 R2
  • Office 365 administration
  • Exchange Server 2013, 2010, 2007
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of the following: ConnectWise, Mimecast and Continuum
  • Strong desktop troubleshooting skills
  • Terminal Services, VPN and other remote connectivity
  • Local and Wide Area Networks (LAN/WAN) and Routing
  • Mobile Devices: iPhone, Android, BlackBerry, etc.

Favorable Skills

  • Working knowledge of VMware in general (4.x 5. x)
  • Cisco switches and routers a plus but not required
  • Unified Threat Management (UTM) devices (e.g. Cisco, SonicWALL, WatchGuard)
  • Other networking gear (switches, routers, etc.)
