Job Description

Scope of work:1) Level-2 production support of Fidelio SPMS and FMS

2) Will be assigned as resource for shipboard projects (upgrades, NewBuilds, enhancements), requiring server/application builds in our lab environments and on site shipboard deployments

3) Participate in User Acceptance Testing ;

4) Test and certify version updates received from system vendor ;

5) Maintenance and general ownership of application (roadmaps, analyze trends in support, etc.)

Required skills/competencies:Fidelio Experience required; Oracle Experience required (Query Heavy, DBA not required); Crystal Reports experience required, General PMS Background with Operational Experience; Analytical skills ; Incident/Problem resolution skills ; hospitality/hotel IT experience;

Preferred Skills:Experience with MS SQL and/or Oracle ; Experience with Fidelio Cruise modules ; Experience with Crystal Reports, Cruise industry/hospitality experience preferred ; 3-5 years of field experience;

Preferred Education:Degree in Computer Science or commensurate and applicable experience

Travel Description:Up to 33% travel required for shipboard projects/support - Domestic and International

This position requires a valid US passport. Travel is not paid from the contractor's home location to RCCL. For travel between RCCL locations, major travel expenses (air, car rental, lodging, some meals) will be booked and may be prepaid by Royal Caribbean. Contractor will be reimbursed for meals and incidental expenses according to RCCL's travel policy. Contractor must have access to a major credit card for travel expenses.
Please be aware of the TWIC expense when submitting candidates to Shipboard positions. If hired, candidates will need a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) to work at the port. It is not reimbursable by RCCL.
