Job Description

Vaco Tampa is hiring! Our client is looking for two developers to join their team.
This is a direct hire role and all work must be completed on-site.

Key Duties:
  • Develop and participate in the implementation of software solutions including but not limited to databases, web applications, and mobile applications to address issues and empower business units
  • Work directly with the Technical Lead to execute product vision and maintain standards
  • Collaborate with projects team and stakeholders to determine project scope and generate actionable development items
  • Assist in implementing standards and procedures within the software development lifecycle to align with industry best practices
  • Build and maintain thorough technical documentation
  • Develop solutions from concept and design phase through implementation and provide long-term support
  • Hands on development of solutions using the latest Microsoft Technologies
  • Act as primary development point of contact for internal and external partners
  • Assist in assessing and mitigating risk to minimize impact of changes
  • Research and assess current and emerging technologies and provide recommendations on tools, products, and processes to ensure best in class delivery
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements:

General:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Software Engineering or related field
  • Relevant work experience of 3+ years in an Application Development role
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to articulate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical customers
  • Strong experience of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Experience with developing in an Agile team
  • Ability to decipher business requirements and provide technical solutions
  • Ability to function independently, receiving high-level and/or strategic guidance from IT leadership or business leadership
  • Ability to self-direct, plan and execute tasks
  • Experience working in Cloud and hybrid cloud environments (MS Azure preferred)


Technical:
  • Experience working with large scale applications
  • Experience working on complex software projects
  • Development experience using some of or all of the following technologies (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, SQL, JavaScript, WCF, JSON, Restful Web API, SOAP Web Services)
  • ORM experience (Entity Framework 6)
  • Experience in the Development of N Tier Applications
  • Experience using common development and productivity tools like (Visual Studio, Git, JIRA, and SSMS)
  • Experience implementing and developing in CI/CD framework
  • Ability integrating with 3rd party systems and off the shelf solutions
  • Experience with Enterprise Service Bus Platforms (MuleSoft preferred)
