Senior .Net Developer

The Senior Developer will be responsible for implementing portions of a web application and associated business logic with the assistance of a less experienced developers. This position will utilize the Senior Developer's proficiency in multiple programming languages, including C#, SQL, JavaScript (AngularJS), and HTML to help construct an industry-revolutionizing multi-tenant order management system.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to implement software systems using: C#, SQL, JavaScript, HTML
• Ability to follow an existing SDLC and implement screens based on detailed requirements
• Good attention to detail and personal organization skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5 years of experience in a comparable position
• Good understanding of systems development and SDLC process
• Practical experience with Git version control software
• Prior experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• Prior experience with AngularJS or Angular 2/4
• Prior experience with Microsoft BizTalk Server
• Prior experience with indexing software (e.g., Solr, Elasticsearch)
• Experience using JIRA for issue tracking

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The Senior Developer will:

• Work with a development team lead and one or more business analysts and testers to efficiently implement and deploy enhancements to a large software application
• Lead a small team of developers that will assist in the development of a software system
• Contribute to automated test suites using Karma and the Microsoft Unit Testing Framework
• Collaborate with onshore and offshore development teams
• Learn and follow the Proforma SDLC, including proper disposition of tasks in JIRA

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
Ideally: 5yrs + in software dev Degree or equivalent ( we hire a lot of code school grads so this isn't a deal breaker ) Aptitude for training and mentoring Full stack preferred ( angular js moving soon to angular 10, and .net core with c#) Ability to want to lead a sprint team and be responsible for a team of 3-5 One or both having some experience with e-commerce would be a plus
