You Will:

  • Design, develop and deliver the applications that support clients business objectives
  • Work within an agile methodology, with development, testing, and deployment occurring in two week sprints
  • Work in a DevOps environment with a SaltStack managed AWS cloud infrastructure and highly automated deployments

  • Demonstrate clients core competencies of authenticity, curiosity, creativity and outcome orientation

You Bring:

  • Solid programming background and a passion for writing code. You are eager to learn more and enjoy providing and receiving critical feedback
  • Experience with Groovy/Grails, Clojure/Script, Redis, MySQL, and JavaScript frameworks such as React, AngularJS, Vue.js, or Ember
  • Knowledge and experience with different programming paradigms such as functional programming, object oriented, and declarative programming
  • Strong background developing unit and integration tests
  • Proven ability to obtain information and problem solve in a small-team, highly collaborative environment
  • Ability to perform at a high level in the absence of strong documentation and process
  • Experience in a fast paced, small working environment
  • Motivation to work with a team to build a product in a rapidly growing industry
  • Excitement about making small, incremental changes and their positive impact to the big picture

Desired but not Required;

  • Automated functional testing
  • Experience with client side unidirectional data flow patterns
  • JavaScript testing frameworks
  • Experience with Bootstrap.css
  • Experience with a CSS preprocessor language such as SASS or LESS
  • Knowledge of the health care or health insurance industry
  • Start-up experience
