Software Test Engineer I

Join us as a Software Test Engineer in a growing sprint team based in San Diego, California, working with domain experts and developers to maintain and enhance our clinical interpretation and reporting applications.

You will:

- Own the process for ensuring our software meets requirements and is of a high standard Run and develop manual and automated test cases

- Work with software developers and domain experts in designing, performing and improving verification tests

- Work collaboratively within the software development team to achieve delivery of version releases according to planned schedules and in compliance with a quality management system.

Skills: We recognize that enthusiasm and an ability to think through problems are as valuable as experience with specific technologies. The list below gives a flavor of the required skills, but we are open to applications from bright, enthusiastic candidates with several of the following:

- Software development in JavaScript, Python, or .NET

- Able to work independently, displaying a strong sense of ownership, motivation and attention to detail

- Aptitude in a broad range of testing methodologies - you will have experience in functional, regression and integration testing using both manual and automated approaches

- Working within a software development team to achieve delivery of version releases according to planned schedules, and in compliance with a quality management system

- Experience working with Amazon Web Services and DevOps practices

- Preparation of software requirements and system analysis

- Web application development

Education: Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
