Job Description

Vaco Indianapolis has partnered with a client located in Lafayette to fill an S&OPMaster Scheduler.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

The principle accountability of this role is to provide leadership in the Financial forecasting and S&OP process. The role requires a high level of competence in Excel based reporting, statistical analysis and translation of data into conclusions. Knowledge of demand, capacity and operation performance indicators is required. Position will need to establish metrics/KPI's necessary to track supply chain effectiveness, efficiency, and opportunities. Position will be the point of contact for all requested customer expedites/cut-in's and will interface with Planners to reschedule as needed.

*Run the Monthly S&OP process.

*Monitors and reports incoming demand through orders and customer forecasts.

*Monitors and reports factory capacity, at various work cells, and ensures alignment with future demand.

*Monitors and reports factory performance, at various work cells and drives coordination of improvements needed by Operations.

*Works with Planning to develop and revise financial forecasts for the current and future periods/months.

*Produces plans to protect revenue and margin vs sales forecasts

*Assesses risk and works to mitigate prior to them becoming an issue.

*Define, design and implement supply chain tools necessary to monitor demand, capacity and performance.

*Partner with Inside sales and planning to respond to requests for expedite and determine feasibility of cut-in requests to maximize collection of expedite fees.

*Work with IT to improve Oracle functionality and automate the generation of reports and bring information reporting closer to real-time.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, engineering, or business from an accredited college or university or the equivalent work experience showing progressive accountability in leadership positions.

*Demonstrate a high degree of competence with MS Office with a focus on Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to work in Oracle and generate custom reports.

*3 plus years work experience in progressive sales and operations planning roles.
