Skillset / Experience:

  • 4 year degree required
  • This will be IT Operations (Network/Server/Voice/AS400) type of projects. Could vary just a little bit, but for the most part it will be these. It will NOT have a major focus on Applications PM.
  • Manages all aspects of a project, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget.
  • Typically managing functional sub-projects with medium complexity (functional overall responsibility) or cross-functional projects with low-medium level of complexity.
  • Teams have a medium complexity in composition, can be located in different places and consist of a mix of competences.
  • Typically dealing with main project manager, project sponsor and steering committee members for the project and relevant line managers.
  • General Profile: Experienced professional, fully competent in own area. Works independently or with minimal supervision/guidance. Manages own time to meet agreed targets; may lead projects with manageable risks and resource requirements. Level at which career may stabilize.
  • Professional Knowledge: Has developed in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge/expertise in one or more than one area. Solves complex problems using existing solutions.
  • Interpersonal Skills: May be an informal team leader, acts as a resource for less experienced colleagues. Establishes strong networks with key contacts within own area.
  • Typical Experience: University degree, plus 3-5 years of relevant experience. Project Management training/education and familiar with PMI terminology and PM tools.
  • Certifications a plus: CISSP, CISM, CASP, Security+, CCSP
  • Travel requirement: More than 25%
