Sr. Payroll Tax Accountant - Contract to Hire in Scottsdale, AZ at Vaco

Job Description

Our client, a large public company, is looking for a Sr. Payroll Tax Accountant to begin work as soon as possible. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity and a fabulous introduction to a well-known company. All work can be completed remotely.

Requirements for the position include:

• At least 3 years accounting experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Experience using ADP or Workday highly preferred

Responsibilities for the position include:

• Prepare accountant reconciliation and compile financial information
• Analysis of documents from tax agencies
• Perform and ensure SOX payroll controls are appropriately followed
• Other duties as assigned
