Job Description

Vaco Technology is currently assisting a client located on the west side of Indianapolis identify a skilled senior-level Software Engineer with strong C#, ASP.Net, SQL, XML, SOA and OOP experience. Qualified candidates will be applying their detailed knowledge of application design and development to improve our client's current Supply Chain Management systems and provide occasional guidance in the architectural design of future systems or redesign efforts.


  • Contribute to the architectural design of any current and redesign projects.
  • New development and maintain production applications written in C#, OOP, ASP.Net, Kendo UI, jQuery, SQL and Entity Framework.
  • Act as Technical Lead on projects within an Agile SDLC environment.
  • Design, code, test and manage various applications
  • Collaborate with engineering team and product team to establish best practices
  • Follow outlined standards of quality related to code and systems
  • Develop automated tests and conduct performance tuning
  • Demonstrate an excellent understanding of .Net framework, OOP, SQL Database concepts
  • Interface with business analyst and quality assurance departments to understand business. requirements in order to complete technical design documents, coding, unit testing and implementation of projects.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the performance of the position, the team and the company.


  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Computer Science Technology or equivalent from four-year college or university and/or 5-8+ years related experience software/application development and programming
  • Strong experience designing and developing web-based applications in C#
  • Experience working with MVC/MVVM design patterns, MS SQL Server, and MySQL
  • Extensive experience with SDLC best practices and procedures and methodologies
  • Experience working in Agile development environment
  • An understanding of Azure DevOps is nice to have
