Vaco Technology is currently seeking qualified Sr. Storage Solution Architects with extensive experience working with EMC products, to provide pre-sales support to include technical design, architecture and support of client's storage platforms. Employment Type: Direct-Hire

Compensation: $$$ Based on experience, $115,000 up to $175,000 base salary + bonus potential and excellent benefits

Job Summary:

Working for a leading Managed Services Provide as the Subject Matter Expert presenting storage solutions expertise as a technical advisor assisting presales teams.

This individual with work closely with sales teams to deliver exceptional customer service and solutions. Responsibilities will include leading the design & delivery of new storage advancements - specifically with EMC storage products, to prepare storage configurations and solution offerings in an accurate and timely manner.


  • 8-10 years of design, engineering and architecture of SAN and NAS storage platforms
  • 5+ years' experience working with EMC storage products, such as EMC VMAX, Isilon, PowerPath, VNX etc.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to consult with both technical engineers and business stakeholders
  • Experience functioning as the SME - Subject Matter Expert for all storage and back-up related functions
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects and requests effectively
  • Individuals must have strong attention to detail and be high organized with the ability to create technical documentation and diagrams
  • Strong critical thinking, complex problem solving, appropriate judgment, and decision-making skills
  • Must be able to think outside of the box, and create innovative solutions and potentially new techniques and processes for clients' needs

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Project Management experience, being able to simultaneously manage multiple concurrent projects
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related fields
  • Experience leading, coaching and mentoring other Storage Engineers and junior team members
