Analysis and Job Description

• Understand all applicable regulations and requirements (CDIA Reference Guide, Metro 2® Reporting Requirements, and FCRA requirements relative to data furnishers/reporters)

• Conduct root cause analysis on identified instances of inaccurate data reporting

• Become familiar with SHAW Spectrum data platform and corresponding data structures

• Understand data mapping from SHAW source system to data reporting extract

• Conduct trending analysis on disputes and date reporting errors

• Conduct investigations of known system credit reporting issues

• Log track and report issues using JIRA

• Work closely with partners to actively address open issues

• Connect with vendors to understand the end to end process requirements

• Identify and recommend process improvements for credit reporting

• Assist in resolution of internal and externally identified reporting issues

Required Qualifications

SQL, PYTHON and/or SAS experience required. Intermediate SQL level

• A demonstrated track record of performing User Acceptance testing, QA or Data Quality testing in a Financial Services System

• Experience working in Financial Services, Bank, Finance or Fintech

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to execute effectively in a dynamic organization, and develop partnerships with many business and functional areas

• Ability to build and maintain strong credible relationships with key stakeholders, including management, regulatory examiners, legal, compliance, and internal auditors

• BA/BS in Business, Analysis, Technology, or related field

Desired Qualifications

Hands on experience with credit bureau data, Equifax, Trans Unions or Experian

• Basic understanding of CDIA Reference Guide, Metro 2® Data Reporting Requirements, and FCRA requirements relative to data furnishers/reporters

• Experience with relational databases and basic data warehouse concepts

• Successful project experience in a data conversion project
