**GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR STAFF ACCOUNTANT WHO HAS MAYBE BEEN OUT OF THE WORKFORCE FOR A WHILE AND LOOKING TO RE-ENTER INTO A REMOTE POSITION**

Staff Accountant Job Duties
For Management Company:
* Manages all aspects of bookeeping, reimbursements, bill payment, budgeting, financial reporting
and accounting for the Management Company entity
* Prepares financial statements and budgets
* Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling accounts
* Manages accounts payable, receivables. payroll and expense payments, including reviewing invoices,
presenting payments for approval and making payments
* Develops and implements accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and
recommending changes
* Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
* Provides accounting support for management company
* Coordinates tax return preparation with a 3rd party accounting firm.
For Investment Entities:
* Prepares financial statements
* Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling accounts
* Manages expense payments, including reviewing invoices, presenting payments for approval and
making payments
* Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
* Runs equity waterfall for realized investments
* Researches transactions to respond to investor inquiries
* Prepares investor update memos and realization reports
* Maintains and uses company investor management software (Relevant Equityworks)
* Opens/closes bank accounts
* Forms/Dissolves investment entities
* Conforms operating agreements for investors
* Sets up ACH and wire templates

For Asset Management:

* Assist in the preparation of monthly asset management report tracking individual loan and equity
investments
* Assist in the monitoring of loan and equity investments
* Manage company bank/lender relationships from an accounting / documentation / payment /
reconcilation perspective.

Skills Required:
* A Bachelors degree in accounting is required.
* Must be a perfectionist by nature, with no tolerance for financial sloppiness.
* Must be highly skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data.
* Must be highly skilled in use of Excel Spreadsheets.
* Must be skilled in use of MS Word and must be a very good writer in order to handle the occasional
administrative needs of the department.
* Must have very good verbal skills.
