Our client, located near Lyndhurst, NJ is adding a Staff Accountant to the team.

In this role the ideal candidate will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Assisting with the Month-End close, journal entries, and maintaining the general ledger.
  • Review and prepare statements, budget variances reports, and financial reporting for month and year end close in compliance with GAAP.
  • Help develop, implement and recommend changes to the accounting procedures to increase accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements for the position include:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting
  • Minimum of 3 years Accounting experience
  • Consumer Goods/Wholesale industry experience is highly preferred.
  • Proven history of strong Reporting, time management, verbal and written communication skills.
